The number next to the HEOL title is counted from the first day of my birth, the first day of my stay on planet Earth. This painting was created during an artist residency in Aschersleben, Germany.

Paintings and drawings that I made during my artist-in-residence in Aschersleben, Lower Saxony, Germany in 2022. Due to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, many of these works refer to this situation and in the broader sense of the horrors of the war. Some of the paintings in the HEOL series (human expression of life, the number stands for the day counting from number 1 when I was born to the day I finished the painting) are notes in the endless as long as I am alive the visual, abstract day of my life.
